NCI is currently seeking a full-time Program Coordinator. This position is ideally suited for a recent college graduate with good administrative skills and some office experience. Some knowledge of, and interest in New Urbanism is a strong plus. NCI is a small, collaborative organization and all employees are involved in strategic planning and organizational decision making. An energetic, detail oriented person who is interested in working in a positive, customer service oriented organization will thrive. Our programs are growing and changing quickly and there are many opportunities for learning about business management, sales, customer service and collaborative community planning in general.

Position Overview
This position is of significant importance to the success of NCI, as the Program Coordinator is often the first contact clients, potential clients, members, trainees, and the general public have with our organization. A variety of people and data management skills are needed to maintain the smooth running of the organization and training programs. A high degree of organizational skills and the ability to multi-task are also important. Answering phone and email inquiries, maintaining the contact database, processing sales orders, and organizing and coordinating training logistics are the primary focus. The ability to write simple informational and marketing pieces and keen editing skills are required. A variety of administrative tasks such as arranging travel logistics, taking meeting notes, scheduling meetings and managing task lists are inherent in the job.
